A fall wedding snapshot on Super 8 film

Posted by Marion Abrams on Thursday, November 18, 2010,

The groom is a film maker who knew just what he wanted.  He asked us to shoot just a few moments in Super 8 Film that he would use along with video shot by Open Eye Media of New York to create the final video.

It was a treat to shoot Super 8 Film and create a dreamy home movie feel.  Here is one minute of the footage we captured.

Location: The Inn at the Round Barn
Film: Tweed River Video
Video: Open Eye Media
Photography: vraiphoto (read her blog post)
Flowers: Floral Artistry (read her blog post)...

Beautiful Vermont

Posted by Marion Abrams on Friday, October 15, 2010,
I just bought a fantastic new camera.  It shoots all the flavors of full HD video, and will allow me to make beautiful pictures.  I'm pretty excited.  On my way to a shoot last week, I pulled off route 100 in Killington (about 10 minutes from my home) to shoot these tests with the new camera.  I wish I and the camera could take credit, but nature pulled off this miracle.

Enjoy :30 seconds of fall foliage over a lovely pond in Vermont.

About Me

I studied painting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Film at NYU, then started a career in documentary filmmaking in New York City. I soon realized the city life was not for me. After time in Aspen and in Rockport Maine I came to Vermont for a seasonal television job in the ski industry and never left. I have run my own video production business, Madmotion, llc., since 1996. I started Tweed River Video specifically for wedding video work in 2003. In addition to weddings I continue to work in documentary, commercial and sports video production and design.
